Load a scan of your section drawing or a picture of your section drawing into Sigma-X Section and trace its outline.  You only need to specify the length of one edge of the scanned image in any units (metric or English/imperial).

Sigma-X Section imports the section into the main program and calculates its properties including the torsion constant, elastic and plastic neutral axes, elastic and plastic section modulii. 

To strengthen the section just draw in the strengthening section shape and the program will calculate the properties of the composite section including all of the above properties together with the equivalent material properties if the modulus of the materials are specified.
